Tournament Guidelines

Temperature Check & Hand Sanitizing

-All individuals entering the facility will have a temperature scan. Those with a temperature exceeding 99.9 will not be admitted.

-All individuals will need to answer questions to a form stating they have not had COVID-19 nor have they been exposed to anyone with the virus within the past 14 days.

-Everyone entering facility must sanitize hands before entering the gym and must sanitize hands on the way out.

Sanitizing the Facility

-Facility Staff will sanitize equipment and seating area throughout the event.

-EACH TEAM WILL BRING THEIR OWN WARM UP BASKETBALLS. SPECTRUM WILL PROVIDE GAME BALL.  PLEASE MAKE SURE BASKETBALLS REMAIN WITH THE HEAD COACH AT ALL TIMES.

-Teams are requested to leave the facility at the conclusion of their games to allow for high touch and gym area to be sanitized for the next games. You cannot watch other team games.  If you have a game back to back then you still need to leave your court and re-renter through main gate again.

Masks/Face Covering of Mouth and Nose

– All individuals (including players/coaches) must have a mask for entry into facility.

– Masks must be worn at all times. Athletes may remove masks during on-court competition. Coaches are not required to wear masks while coaching on a court.

Social Distancing

-All individuals must enter and exit through the specified designated area. Entry and Exit will be separated to promote social distancing and limit contact..

SEE NOTE FROM COACH SKINNER BELOW:.
|Coaches!
Please make sure you read ALL of the information in regards to the tournament.  Admission is 21.00 for the day for each spectator. Children 5 and under are free. There is NO individual game pricing. Each team is only allowed 25 spectators per game. Once you enter and pay for that game, you will be directed to that court. Your team and coaches may remove their masks in the court and bench area. All spectators must have a mask on the entire time as well as The scorekeeper at the table.  You are not allowed to leave the court to watch another game. You must remain on that court during the entire game. (Bathroom and concessions are in the lobby area) Once the game is over, teams and spectators  will immediately exit out the fire door on each court. You cannot walk to another court. You cannot use the restroom.  Everyone must exit!  There is a gym manager on each court to instruct each of you and where to go. Courts, benches, equipment and seating will be cleaned and fogged with Covid-19 spray after each game. The tournament director or staff will come outside and ask for the next team on the schedule. Teams must report to the facility 15 minutes before their scheduled game time.  I would advise spectators to walk in and go through check in after the teams go in. Temp check and COVID screen will be done. Door will remain locked while games are going on to ensure the capacity is with VA Phase 3 guidelines.  You will enter only through the main front gate doors but only exit off each court! You will never exit out the front doors! The door will not be open for bathroom use, concessions ….  IF your team is not playing in the facility.  Please understand that COVID-19 has changed the way old tournaments are now run. Single game controlled admission, no hand shaking or high fives after the game, no sitting or standing in our lobbies, no moving freely from court to court to name a few.  We are doubling our staff and also the cost of covid-19 cleaning materials is off the charts.  Our first event went very well!! We are taking it one tournament at a time and your safety is most important thing.
Thank you!
